Studying in New Zealand: helping parents set the worry down,
and children can grow the courage.
When planning a child's study here, the hardest part is usually not choosing a school. It's facing a run ofquestions that don't yet have answers:
Which region suits your child? What actually separates one school from another? And where do you start with the application, the housing and what comes after school?
Across three online sessions we'll go through what schools in different regions are like, where they lead academically, and what living here is actually like — along with the experience of real families, so the choice comes into clearer focus.
The three sessions
| Session | Date | Region |
|---|---|---|
| Day 1 | Fri 11 Sep | Auckland |
| Day 2 | Fri 18 Sep | Waikato and Cambridge |
| Day 3 | Fri 25 Sep | North and South Island |
All three are online. Come to one, or come to all of them.

We'd also like to hear what worries you
This isn't only a school presentation.
Rather than reading information out, we'd rather know what's actually on parents' minds — whether a child will keep up, how the household has to change, whether this decision is too early or too late. None of these has a standard answer, but they can be laid out and looked at together.
If you're planning this for your child, or still uncertain about it,bring the questions with you. We'll work through them with you to find what suits your child and your family.
